Voice, piano and immersive electronics filling an entire 360° dome. From dark electronic productions on Ninja Tune to symphonic compositions, Emika has expanded her musical world to include works created for some of Europe's largest planetarium domes. With her new live show Fountain Immersive, she pushes both music and technology even further. She composed and mixed the music in her own spatial audio studio, allowing sound to move around the audience and make full use of the dome. At Prague Planetarium, she will combine it with the monumental 3D visual world of László Bordos. Emika will present just two live performances in one evening – at 19:00 and 20:30.

Fountain Immersive grows out of her new album Fountain and Emika's years-long ambition to take songwriting beyond conventional stereo and the traditional stage. In her new immersive studio, developed in collaboration with Genelec and Dolby Laboratories, she composed music specifically for spatial audio. Voice, piano, analogue synthesisers and electronic structures no longer emerge from a single direction but move around the audience, transforming the entire space into part of the composition. Beneath the technological layers lies a deeply personal theme: Fountain was also created in response to the loss of Emika's mother, who had taught her from childhood to transform her pain into art.

For the show's visual world, Emika once again joins forces with László Zsolt Bordos, with whom she previously created the 360° project If We Disappear. This time, their shared vision moves beyond digital particles towards natural phenomena of light – reflection, refraction, diffraction and scattering. The projections are therefore not simply a visual accompaniment to the concert, but another dimension of the space in which the music unfolds around the audience. Fountain Immersive transforms the Planetarium's dome into a single living instrument – placing the listener right at its centre.

The concert is part of the 14th edition of the multidisciplinary Spectaculare festival, taking place at various venues across Prague in March and April 2027. Tickets are already available at spectaculare.cz.
