A Japanese wizard, whose recipe for a magical music cocktail is based on the ability to portion with precision drops of jazz, hip-hop, soul, rock and classical music – that is Yuki Hirano, a.k.a. BigYuki. The infinite music landscapes he composes pulse with a strong influence of electronic mix, groove and rhythmical beat. And where else than in Prague, once a capital of alchemy, should this piano alchemist from New York appear! BigYuki will perform his explosive show in the Czech Republic for the very first time. In October 2015 BigYuki released his debut album Green Fire, which features – besides Yuki Hirano – Justin Tyson’s drums (Robert Glasper, Esperanza Spalding) and Randy Runyon’s guitar. His experimental approach to music and unparalleled sound attracted interest of black-music celebrities including hip-hop producer Talib Kweli, saxophonist Marcus Strickland, rapper Q-Tip or Grammy Award-winner Bilal.

Bert & Friends The most famous band from the year 2050 will get back in time to play their biggest hits from the year 2049. A private band of Bill Brexton, the president of the world, holds an award for enlightening all musical genres, including future bleebop. Albert Romanutti is the band’s creator, singer, keyboards player, hitmaker and Bill Brexton’s close friend, on the stage with his disco crews. Reviewers describe their music as one that is impossible to describe. Those who dared to give it a shot started to elaborate on a beauty beyond understanding but disappeared immediately. The band of four got together quite recently on the Prague Conservatory and VOŠ Jaroslava Ježka. They crazily adore the infinite amount of possibilities to express itself through music, due to which they produce an incredibly colourful, diverse and original musical substance that has no rival on the contemporary musical scene. All in all, should you want to distil a genre, you would come to core elements of jazz, rock, classical music and pop.
