info Czech artist Prune and Slovenian artist 3:rma are linked in a residency. They are focusing their four days of concentrated work on synergy and preparation for new music. Prune Lucie Krpalová, who moved to Brno from southeastern Moravia, worked for several years together with Maria Adamová in the girls' songwriting duo Lav Lav. Then she founded her solo author project Luu, which smoothly transformed into Prune. Under the production supervision of Martin E. Kyšperský (Květy), she released her debut album Circles in 2016. Prune is currently working on English material for her second album, arranged by Swedish musician Christoffer Strandh (Chris Beach's solo project), and new songs in Czech are collecting under her hands. 3:rma An original project by guitar player Urška Supej and singer Maša But. The project builds a bridge between music and poetry, in which you can hear traces of jazz, pop, and folk and discuss topics such as feminism, relationships, faith, etc. They draw inspiration from musicians like Bob Dylan, Laura Marling, Leonard Coen, poets Edna St. Vincent Millay, and May Sarton, and the writings of Simone de Beauvoir, Virginia Woolf, etc. Their songs display the contrast between simple melodies and complex topics like the struggle between the ideal and reality, through which they encourage the discussion about issues often overheard or put aside by society. The project is implemented with the financial participation of the EU through the National Recovery Plan and the Ministry of Culture. This concert is supported by Liveurope. The first EU-wide initiative to support concert clubs in their efforts to host concerts by emerging European artists. Liveurope is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union |
