Amaia Miranda: The fact that Amaia Miranda accompanied the theatrical adaptation of Canto yo y la montaña baila on guitar should not surprise anyone: her voice and sensitivity possess a telluric quality akin to the prose of Irene Solà. But her sound, which excels on the LP Cuando se nos mueren los amores, also flows along the same river that has nurtured Nick Drake and Paco de Lucía, spirits that flow naturally every time the singer-songwriter from Bilbao puts her fingers on the strings.
