When, sometime in the mid-70s, photographer Annie Liebovitz offered to go on tour with the most celebrated and wildest band in the world at that time, the Rolling Stones, to the editors of the bi-weekly Rolling Stone, Jann S. Wenner, the editor-in-chief of the publication, otherwise a bohemian and wild guy, tried to dissuade her from doing it. As everyone knew, anyone who entered into the world of the crowd around Jagger and Richards at that time usually ended up a junkie. Liebovitz did not miss out; she photographed a fascinating documentary and then for many years suffered from drug addiction. Her work deeply affected us and Monkey Business and inspired our collaboration. Our photographer Tomáš Nosil, who spent many days with the Czech stars, is so far not suffering from anything.
