Burt Ford and Karmil started making music as cirKus in order to calm their nerves from all the rumblings of terrorist attacks and an impending World recession splashed throughout all the UK's mass media. Their joint musical works began in Karmil's bedroom studio (the smallest room in Ford's Camden town house). Ford made his name writing & producing under the name Boogabear while Karmil was working out how to make beats DJ & play guitar. They met, started writing and pretty quickly formulated the sound and style that is cirKus. They hit the road with their live band and have spent the past 3 years traveling the World's festival stages performing for whoever would listen playing as far a field as Brazil, Monteal & Cassablanca besides the whole of Europe and Scandinavia (where they know reside). As a result of their extensive and ecstatically received shows they have built a large and loyal following. cirKus' core members do actually number 4 (the other 2 members being Lolita Moon & a lady who identity they prefer to play down). cirKus' 2nd album (Medicine) is now complete and will be released later this year.
