On October 28th, Planet Connection features an authentic Portuguese experience with a performance by A Naifa, a quartet from Lisbon; the heart of Portugal. This will be A Naifa’s first ever performance in the Czech Republic! They bring with them a modern form of the classical music style fado, which they feel captures the true essence and insight to Portugal. Mixing this classical fado with more modern styles resembling nu-jazz and tango, A Naifa captures the longing and sadness, yet the progressiveness and poetic quality that bridges present and past Portugal. And as if you’d need more to be entranced by these Portuguese flavors of music, delicious native cuisines and wines from Portugal will also be offered to appease both your ears and pallet.
