Clown burlesque with hints of scoliosis. In the solo pieceTwist & Shout, the clown´s flirtatious clumsiness morphs into the tragic image of a twisted body and unbearable pain. The performance is a journey into one’s self, a glimpse into the clown´s inner world and an ode to the beauty of letting go. This visually and physically rousing solo takes the viewer to the edge of melancholy and hysteria, culminating in a release of joy and inner relief.
