Maxence Cyrin is a pianist and a french composer living in Paris. After a solid pianistic education at the conservatory, he is interested in electronic music and recorded numerous songs during the 90′.In the album entitled Modern Rhapsodies, released in 2005 with FCom (record label of the DJ Laurent Garnier) , he arranged for solo piano tracks from Massive Attack, Depeche Mode or Moby. The album Novö Piano is released in 2009, there he transposed for piano some pop, rock and electro music from Daft Punk, Nirvana or The Pixies. The music video “Where is my mind” has been viewed more than 4 million times on Youtube.Then, in 2012 is released the album The Fantasist, an imaginary movie soundtrack with piano, strings and synthesisers. In 2014, he signed with the classical record label Evidence Classics, leaded by the famous sound engineer Nicolas Bartholomée, and In January 2015, he released a new opus entitled Nocturnes, ten delicate and poetic compositions for solo piano, as an invitation to travel deep into the night. Strongly modern, Maxence Cyrin is performing in classical music festival, and frequently work with Fashion’s prestigious brands as Lanvin, Chanel, Hermès, Valentino. He also composed several movie soundtracks for the Cinémathèque Française, illustrating masterpieces of french silent cinema filmed by Jean Epstein, Albert Capellani… In 2015, “Where is My mind” has been used for the soundtrack of UK’s Movie “Man up” and recently it closes the Season 1 of the US Serie “Mr Robot”, and also Season 2 Episode 3 of US Serie “The Leftlovers”. His new album Novö Piano 2, in which we will discover both cover songs of Björk, Soundgarder, or even The Matrix soundtrack will be released on November the 13th. Après une solide formation de piano au Conservatoire, il tourne son intérêt vers la musique électronique et réalise au cours des années 1990 de très nombreux enregistrements. Dans l’album Modern Rhapsodies, sorti en 2005 sur FCom (label fondé par Laurent Garnier) Maxence réinterprète au piano les thèmes emblématiques de la musique électronique d’artistes comme Massive Attack, Depeche Mode ou Moby. Il réalise en 2012 l’album The Fantaisist, B.O. pour piano, cordes et synthétiseurs, d’un film imaginaire. En 2014, il signe avec Evidence Classics, label dirigé par le célèbre ingénieur du son Nicolas Bartholomée, et sort en janvier 2015 un nouvel opus intitulé Nocturnes : 10 pièces pour piano, délicates et poétiques, qui invitent à un voyage musical au coeur de la nuit. Résolument actuel, Maxence Cyrin se produit dans des festivals de musique classique, comme “Piano aux Jacobins”, “1001 notes”, et travaille régulièrement aussi pour la Mode au travers de marques prestigieuses telles que Lanvin, Chanel, Hermès ou encore Valentino. Il a également composé plusieurs musiques de films, illustrant pour la Cinémathèque Française, les chefs d’oeuvres de pionniers du cinéma muet français comme Jean Epstein, Albert Capellani… Récemment, sa version de “Where is my mind” a été utilisée pour la BO du film anglais “Man Up”, elle termine également la fin de la première saison de la série américaine “Mr Robot”, ainsi qu’un épisode de la série américaine “The Leftlovers”. Son nouvel album intitulé Novo Piano 2, dans lequel on retrouvera aussi bien des reprises de Björk, Soundgarden que la BO de The Matrix sortira le 13 Novembre. Une tournée internationale devrait bientôt être annoncée.
Support: Sarah and Julian Sarah and Julian are a German singer-songwriter duo. After learning clarinet and trumpet as children, the siblings taught themselves piano and guitar in their teens. The pair create a harmony laden sound that envelops the listener with everything from folk to more indie-sounding songs. They already recorded a debut EP full of beautiful vocal harmonies, sultry piano sounds and emotional melodies after signing a record deal with PIAS in Germany.
