Director Andreas Johnsen is on an adventurous journey to North Macedonia with Danish trio Efterklang. Their goal is to find members for a new band and together create music and a spectacular performance in front of Makedonium, the national monument of independence . – And all this in only one week. This little gem of a film is about what makes life worth living; the meeting with the unknown and going through with that encounter till the end, having courage, curiosity and openness between people and cultures to be able to create something heartfelt and beautiful, yes, maybe sometimes even magical.
