“Her lyrics are imagistic and multileveled. Singing about the personal, the historical or the mythic, Ms. Consoli is always vividly impassioned. Her voice can be smoky and sultry, wryly amused or raw with rage.” (New York Times)

Nina Kohout is a 19 year-old Slovakian artist who studies music production at The BRIT School in London. Her music connects the eerie atmosphere of ancient Slovak folklore, classical music elements, and the freshness of an innovative trip-hop. She has created her own timeless, rather strange, and anarchic musical world, for which she won an award for Newcomer of the Year 2020 by Slovak national radio. The song ‘Moonlight’, from her debut EP ‘Pandemonium’ was featured as the Song of the Day by KEXP Radio.
