For the fourth time the students of third year from the Tomas Bata University in Zlín – Faculty of multimedia communications, Department of Visual Arts and 3D atelier – present their work in Akropolis. The students had a great opportunity to visit a public rehearsal thanks to the forthcoming attitude of the theatre Městské divadlo director, MgA. Petr Michálek. Most of the students have last seen a puppet theatre. The visit was connected with a task to create a poster about the performance. The visit might have been only a duty at first but it changed to an immediate success. It was interesting to see how the generation of digital age raised by swift cuts of television movies accepted the game between actor and audience – to believe in the story performed by the actor. It is visible on each of the poster how the authors understood the performance; the posters show their emotions and reactions to the play. I hope for the cooperation between the school and the theatre to continue and that it will be advantageous for both sides – the students making acquaintances with the theatre and the theatre maybe gaining new visitors.
