Texoprint (Kalaallit Nunaat)

The Netherlands’ most intense noise rock trio has changed its name but not its identity. Texoprint (formerly known as Kalaallit Nunaat) is a factory specialised in producing noise at the highest level. This year they’ll release a new EP and play all over Europe including Supersonic’s Block Party in Paris and Best Kept Secret 2024.

Mumble EP – In October they finally released their first single of their new EP called “Push it Down”. The trio is set to release two new singles, the first up Guess. A quick, bouncy and hooky post-punk song. In the spring of 2024 they plan to release their third EP called Mumble. It is a deliberate step towards a more aggressive approach to sound, which is really what their next EP is all about. Kalaallit Nunaat’s new songs are only going to get more energetic and aggressive, pushing the boundaries of what they have done before. Expect an EP that is both memorable and earsplitting.

Libor Staněk II. & Krstní Otcovia

The Slovak band Krstni Otcovia is still one of the newcomers on the Slovak alternative scene. The band oscillates between post-punk and indie rock wrapped in motorik, kraut rock beats. It was their enjoyment of krautrock that brought them together with the frontman of the band Sýček, Libor Stanek II, with whom they toured for the release of his poetry collection Světelné básně. It is characterised by a strong concept rooted in the author's native environment, consciously playing with a romantically authentic gesture as a thoughtful guide. In this special kind of performative performance, the extremely raw music of K.O. will be intertwined with the text collages of the poet Libor Stanek. Loops of words in hypnotic sound. Verses torn from the chain. Poems like bloody shreds of flesh. Made in czechoslovakia.

Lonely Shredder and the Heavy Smokers

Walls of sound, noise fury, garage grime, melacholic shoegaze sounds and fragile dreampop. None of these elements are alien to Pilsen's stoners, who like to switch between genres and styles like smoke from many different cigarettes.

The concert will take place at the Small Hall in cooperation with Akropolis Underground.

New music series called „woodoo“ presents bands through genres such as post-punk, garage-rock, noise-rock, shoegaze, electronic, doom metal and experimental „woodoo“ rap—floating somewhere between them and beyond them.

This concert is supported by Liveurope. The first EU-wide initiative to support concert clubs in their efforts to host concerts by emerging European artists. Liveurope is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
