Saturday 11. 10.
info Raw rap, DIY beats, and social commentary. Palác Akropolis will pulse with two unmistakable names of the Czech-Slovak rap scene – Darewin and Fobia Kid. Fobia Kid A Slovak rapper who has been breaking boundaries on the scene for over ten years. This year, Fobia Kid drew attention with his powerful single 2 minúty nenávisti na ministerstve pravdy, which will appear on the highly anticipated new album SLOVAKIA NIGHTMARE. He was inspired by Slavic mythology, old fairy tales, as well as current social events in Slovakia. Fobia Kid belongs to the most distinctive figures of the Slovak-Czech rap scene – his work is raw and authentic. Darewin Prague rapper Jan Vokoun aka Darewin is the founder of the label TUSY and the embodiment of the DIY approach. From his first mixtapes under the name Mladej Pilot to his current projects, he builds everything in his own way. His style is minimalist, melancholic, and at the same time hard, just like the stories he imprints into his tracks. On stage, he comes across as a one-man army, needing nothing more than a microphone and his own flow. The evening will conclude with an afterparty in collaboration with Akropolis Underground. The Pulz series at Palác Akropolis is curated by Refresher’s editor-in-chief Vojtěch Tkáč. |
