An evening full of sonic landscapes and intense musical visions brings together three distinctive names from the contemporary alternative scene on one stage. The psychedelic wave of The Dharma Chain intertwines with the punk-driven intensity bordering on hardcore from The Ills, and the transcendent atmosphere of Mancy Sono. Three different approaches to sound, united by their boldness in pushing genre boundaries and their ability to draw listeners into their own musical universe.

The Dharma Chain (DE)

Originally from Byron Bay, Australia, now based in Berlin, The Dharma Chain is a band that defies genre labels, offering a captivating mix of shoegaze, post-punk, and neo-psychedelia, infused with the raw energy of ‘60s garage rock. Their live shows are known for their dynamic nature, with band members switching roles, making every performance a one-of-a-kind experience. Sonically, they balance between the dreamy and the abrasive—ethereal vocals drenched in reverb, guitars that feel both nostalgic and unsettling, all underpinned by industrial undertones. After relocating to Germany, they signed with Anomic Records and released their debut album NOWHERE on June 21, 2024, solidifying their place among the most exciting acts in today’s psych-rock scene.

The Ills

An instrumental band from Bratislava blending post-rock, shoegaze, prog-rock and experimental influences into a powerful, multi-layered sound. Their music flows seamlessly between gentle ambient passages and loud, chaotic explosions. Ethereal and delicate one moment, dark and fierce the next. On stage, their energy fuses with technical precision, a strong atmospheric presence and a punk-driven intensity that borders on hardcore. Their vocal-free sound is built on dual guitars, melodic bass, and expressive, dynamic drumming. They have gained recognition not only from fans but also from media such as Clash, BBC Radio, KEXP, DIY and Drowned in Sound.

Kevin Cole (KEXP) described them as: “An awesome expressive instrumental rock band. I love them. I need their music.”

Mancy Sono

Band crafts musical worlds in which you can both lose and find yourself. Their performances are more than just concerts—they are deep emotional experiences bordering on trance. Their fusion of post-rock, ambient, drone, and metal carries a raw intensity yet remains profoundly sensitive, personal, and intimate. Each sound, each melody has a purpose—their music contains no lyrics, yet it tells powerful stories. The audience becomes part of a ritual, a collective yet deeply personal journey. Mancy Sono offers music without compromise, music that serves as both meditation and an explosion of emotions.
