These bands will battle for the opportunity to perform at the iconic German festival alongside heavyweights like Guns N' Roses, Machine Head, Gojira, Papa Roach, Within Temptation, and many more.

An expert jury, led by Slovak music journalist and host of the two-hour metal show Headbanger_FM Rudi Rus and Jan Korej Roman from Metalshop TV, selected these six bands along with two alternates based on their music. They will showcase their talent to the jury and fans during the final concert on May 31, 2025, at Palác Akropolis in Prague.

The only previous Czech edition of this competition took place in 2010, sending Dymytry to Wacken Open Air. Who will follow in their footsteps this year? We’ll find out at the end of May.
