International rock heavyweights The Dead Daisies are returning to Prague! Featuring musicians from bands such as Guns N’ Roses, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy and Journey, the band are ready to blow Czech audiences away once again. Led by guitarist David Lowy, the high-octane rock outfit will set Palác Akropolis ablaze on March 19, 2027.

The Dead Daisies are an international rock supergroup founded in 2012 by Australian guitarist David Lowy. From the very beginning, the project has embraced a flexible and ever-changing line-up, featuring musicians from bands such as Guns N’ Roses, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy and Journey. This has given the band a distinctive style rooted in classic hard rock of the 1970s and 1980s, enhanced by modern sound and energy.

The band quickly attracted the attention of high-octane rock fans and music critics alike through extensive touring around the world. The Dead Daisies have toured with Aerosmith, Kiss and Def Leppard and appeared at numerous major festivals. Their live performances are known for their powerful dynamics, precision and the distinctive personalities of their experienced musicians.

Over the years, they have released several successful albums featuring different vocalists, including Jon Stevens, John Corabi and Glenn Hughes. Each era of the band brings a slightly different sound and atmosphere, but the common thread remains an authentic rock’n’roll foundation. The Dead Daisies have built a loyal fan base and established themselves as a respected name on the rock scene.

The Quireboys are a British hard rock band formed in London in 1984. Their music is characterised by catchy, melodic rock’n’roll with strong blues influences, piano and the raspy vocals of founding singer Spike. Their 1990 debut album A Bit of What You Fancy reached number two on the UK Albums Chart and produced hits such as 7 O’Clock and Hey You. Although the line-up has changed many times over the decades and the band has experienced break-ups and legal disputes over its name, The Quireboys remain an enduring icon of the British club and festival scene.

The Gems are a Swedish hard rock trio made up entirely of experienced female musicians. The band was formed in 2023 by vocalist Guernica Mancini, drummer Emlee Johansson and guitarist Mona Lindgren. They play energetic, straightforward rock’n’roll inspired by the 1970s and 1980s, combining powerful guitar riffs, strong melodies and modern production. In January 2024, they released their debut album Phoenix via Napalm Records, a title that aptly symbolises their new beginning. Singles such as Like A Phoenix and Queens confirmed the trio’s ability to deliver catchy hard rock with a distinctive female perspective and explosive live energy.

The event is organised by Obscure Promotion.
