The Necks – masters of their own musical language / Piano, bass, drums.

Over more than thirty years of their existence, The Necks have built an international reputation as masters of their own musical language. They have collaborated with artists such as: Brian Eno, Swans, Evan Parker, Karl Hyde and several symphony orchestras. They toured Australia 8 years ago as the opening act for Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, and in 2019 they collaborated with Underworld on their new audio-visual series, as well as with Michael Gira on the Swans album.

They have been touring Europe for over 20 years. Every Necks’ performance is a singular event, entirely improvised and working with the acoustics of the room. Their minimalist, repetitive improvisation with piano, drums and bass sounds as if it comes from a single unknown instrument
