SHARPE select returns to Palác Akropolis after a year! Following last year’s successful pilot edition, born out of a collaboration between Palác Akropolis and the unique Slovak showcase festival and conference SHARPE, we will once again present a selection of exciting artists in Prague.

Akropolis will open all three of its stages and let them resonate with some of the most current sounds from the European independent scene. Expect a genre-spanning evening — from dance-driven energy through experimental explorations to captivating alternative music. SHARPE select offers a concentrated musical experience within a single night, staying true to the spirit of the Bratislava-based SHARPE festival and bringing to Prague some of the most compelling acts currently resonating across Europe — new discoveries, rising stars, and bands you will definitely be hearing more about.

Ki Klop

The Zagreb-based trio Ki Klop arrives with an energy that won’t let anyone stand still. Their music blends disco grooves, hypnotic guitar lines and pulsating rhythms into an infectious, dance-infused trance-like experience. Originally formed as a duo, the project evolved into a full-blooded live band with the arrival of drummer and vocalist Laura Tandarić. On stage, they operate like a perfectly synchronized organism. Their live set is a rhythmic force of nature — dynamic, slightly theatrical and irresistibly catchy. Ki Klop knows exactly how to connect with the audience — before you know it, you are fully immersed in their sonic universe.

Sara Zozaya

Sara Zozaya brings a softer yet equally intense dimension to Akropolis. The singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from San Sebastián is one of the distinctive female voices of the contemporary Basque scene, known for her boundless musical curiosity. Her music is both intimate and contemporary — combining indie pop, subtle electronics and delicate melodies, accompanied by striking visual projections. Live, she delivers a focused and immersive performance, working with atmosphere, depth and silence, creating a space where time seems to slow down for a momemt.

The event partner is Instituto Cervantes.

This event is supported by Liveurope – the first pan-European platform supporting concert venues in their efforts to present emerging European artists. The Liveurope project is co-funded by the European Union’s Creative Europe programme.
