The second night belongs to the final Prague uprising of Mŕtva revolúcia.

Fvck_Kvlt, the project of Trnava-based musician, poet and songwriter Denis Bango, has become one of the most distinctive voices in the Slovak and Czech underground. His music rejects genre labels as stubbornly as it rejects a conventional life: rap clashes with punk, electronics, hardcore and poetry that has no intention of making things easy for you.

The album Mŕtva revolúcia is a record, a manifesto and a dispatch from a place where the old world has not yet burned down but is already smouldering uncomfortably. After touring, festivals, two shows in New York and another pair of Radio Head Awards, Fvck_Kvlt and his Kvlt Crew are coming to Akropolis to close this chapter. The revolution may be dead. On stage, it still kicks.

The four-piece Small Town Life from Šaľa, Slovakia, combine the heaviness and melancholy of 1990s alternative guitar music with hardcore, pop sensibility and a contemporary sound. Their songs move between quiet intimacy and sudden explosions of noise, like trying to keep your composure while the world steps on your throat once again.

The band have played across Slovakia, Czechia, Hungary and Austria, shared stages with The Mysterines, Repetitor and Soviet Soviet, and appeared at festivals including Pohoda, Rock for People and FLAAM. Live, they deliver controlled chaos without decoration, excuses or unnecessary talk. Exactly what the second night of woodoo deserves.

Matter Tua will open the evening on the main stage. Experimental hardcore punk and controlled self-destruction, turning anger into energy and mixing chaos with unease. Drawing on American punk of the 1970s, their sound brings together raw riffs, sharp rhythms, guitar effects and industrial noise. Beneath the speed and urgency lies a determination to stand against hopelessness and injustice in this damned world.

After the concerts, the night continues with an afterparty in collaboration with Akropolis Underground. Having played in punk bands from an early age, The Undertaker’s Tapes carries a raw, relentless energy into noise and industrial electronics. Death, desire, existential questions and the questioning of faith are filtered through his own experiences and sensibilities. Catharsis for those who are not ready to go home after the final concert.

woodoo: Two Nights Underground

Two nights, one basement, a few scars and some blurred memories. For two days, the woodoo series will bring underground acts into Akropolis. Some artists are returning, while others will take its stage for the first time. Previous encounters between parts of this line-up turned packed concerts into legendary parties.

Both nights are separate events, with tickets sold individually. For the hundred people who want to make it through this little purgatory in its entirety, 100 exclusive two-day passes will also be available.
