Deathcore fans, take notice – California's demolition squad Suicide Silence are heading to Prague's Palác Akropolis on 14 May! Joining them will be symphonic death metal masters Fleshgod Apocalypse, Australia's uncompromising heavyweights To The Grave and The Gloom In The Corner. Prepare for a technically precise and relentlessly extreme sonic assault.

Leading the charge are Suicide Silence, icons who helped shape the sound of modern deathcore in the early 2000s. Hailing from Riverside, California, and fronted by Eddie Hermida, the band build on the foundations laid by genre-defining albums The Cleansing and No Time to Bleed. Their sound is driven by downtuned seven-string guitars, devastating breakdowns and lightning-fast transitions between grindcore speed and crushing grooves.

Italy's Fleshgod Apocalypse bring an entirely different dynamic to the line-up. Their signature sound combines the relentless pace of technical death metal with complex classical arrangements, prominent piano and operatic vocals. With their latest album Opera, they continue the path established by records such as King and Agony, delivering live performances built on rhythmic precision, dramatic crescendos and monumental layers of sound.

Australia's To The Grave are among the most uncompromising voices in contemporary deathcore. Their music is defined by the extreme vocal range of frontman Dane Evans, set against punishing chug riffs, sampled noise and socially conscious lyrics focused on animal ethics and rights. Crushing bass drops and aggressive production turn their live shows into an all-out sonic assault.

Opening the evening will be fellow Australians The Gloom In The Corner, who bring a conceptual dimension to the bill. The band have developed a fictional interconnected narrative world known as The Gloom Cinematic Universe, soundtracked by an explosive blend of nu-metalcore, mathcore rhythms and theatrically intense passages.

The event is organised by Obscure Promotion.
