Essay on Light is an experimental puppet performance emerging from an interest in theatre technologies and from the conviction that it is important to share reflections on artistic creation also through artistic form itself – thus opening up the possibilities of contemporary theatre.

Through a mosaic of an audiovisual essay, we enter worlds where light plays a crucial role – whether it is humankind’s first mastery of fire or the transmission of the internet through optical cables.

Musaši Entertainment Company is a creative collective focused primarily on original theatre, but also on visual art and installations, audio production, woodcarving, the making of musical instruments, traditional crafts, and leading workshops for both children and adults. Permanent members are Adam Páník, Tereza Havlová, and Františka Jesenská.
