info Concert rescheduled from the original date of June 22. Tickets remain valid. Freak-folk pioneers CocoRosie return to Prague with their new album Little Death Wishes (2025). For more than twenty years, Bianca and Sierra Casady have moved within the avant-garde of experimental pop music, influencing countless musicians while inspiring—and creating a refuge for—“criminal queers” around the world. After an exceptional Prague concert marking their 20th anniversary (2024), CocoRosie return to Palác Akropolis with their eighth full-length album, Little Death Wishes. The work of the American sister duo Sierra and Bianca Casady, a.k.a. CocoRosie, uniquely blends elements of pop, blues, electronics, hip hop, and opera. The duo is known above all for its original poetics and its use of lo-fi children’s toys, classical instrumentation, and stylistically diverse rhythms. Sierra Casady is a classically trained opera singer and stage actress, while Bianca Casady is a poet, theatre director, and visual artist. Together, the sisters draw on music, theatrical movement, fashion, and contemporary art to create work that reflects the beauty and sorrow of our collective human experience. Through their art they advocate for human rights, question social norms, and often play with various taboos. In the past they have collaborated with artists such as Anohni, Kronos Quartet, and avant-garde theatre director Robert Wilson. Concert presented by Rachot Production |
